[original final]Rosa Somnium (Rose Dream) in a limited palette of cadmium red, yellow ochre, ivory black, and titanium white. This is known as the Zorn palette. My focus for this painting was on loose brushstrokes and a clear definition between the background and foreground while getting to know the palette.
